Gordon Young is a visual artist
who focuses on creating art for the public domain. His work ranges from sculptures to typographic pavements for places as disrelated as government headquarters and village squares. The common denominator for all projects is the basis of relevance to the surroundings.

Situated in Clark’s village, this sculptural tree made in copper and steel stands on the site of a former orchard. Celebrating Somerset’s long association with the production of cider, the sculptural apples bear the names of over 100 local cider apples species.
